Fan Frenzy teams went .500 on week 6 with a (4-4) record
The Memphis Tigers continue undefeated this season after defeating LA-Monroe 52-33. After setting the freshman single game rushing record and posting his third consecutive 100-yard rushing game of the season, redshirt freshman running back Kenneth Gainwell was named to the American Athletic Conference's weekly honor roll.
The Boise State Broncos once again left Las Vegas victorious after defeating the UNLV Rebels 38-13, even sneaking in a backdoor cover with a late Andrew Van Buren rushing touchdown. The Georgia Southern Eagles defeat the struggling the South Alabama Jaguars 20-17 with a comeback touchdown in the 4thquarter.
Oregon Ducks freshman Kayvon Thibodeaux wreaks havoc and notches 2 sacks to help the team win against Cal 17-7. Oregon advanced to 4-1 on the season and is 2-0 in Pac-12 play. Which is a terrific spot to be in considering Washington’s 2 losses, a key contender in the North.
On the opposite spectrum we saw Utah State fall against LSU 42-6. The Iowa Hawkeyes got their first loss of the season against Michigan 10-3. The Hawkeyes don't have any time to sulk about the Michigan loss because they have a top 10 Penn State team strolling into Kinnick Stadium on Saturday night. The Kansas Jayhawks lost to Oklahoma 45-20 and Kansas State was defeated by Baylor 31-12.
Coming next on week 7: Colorado at Oregon, Memphis at Temple, Michigan at Illinois, Florida State at Clemson, Penn State at Iowa, Utah at Oregon State, Hawaii at Boise State and Wyoming at San Diego St.
