This week 11 wasn’t as kind as previous weeks

Welcome to another Fan Frenzy weekly team report. This week wasn’t as kind as previous weeks so far. Fan Frenzy teams ended up winning 9 games and lost 8. Still over .500, yet some of the losses were bad. Really bad. But before we dive into that, let’s look at the good.

Week to week at this point talking about this team feel like a repeat. Yet again, the case is that the defending champs are still as dominant as ever. Clemson took NC State to school after a 45-point win 55-10 and it’s hard to pick what to be more impressed with in this program, its offense or defense. Once again, they’re the clear favorite to win it all.

The Florida Atlantic Owls faced Florida International in a wire-to-wire victory 37 to 7. Malcom Davidson had three rushing touchdowns in this game.

Utah State K. Dominik Eberle scored a 30-yard field goal as time expired to lift the Aggies over Fresno State 37-35.

The Illinois Fighting Illini square up against Michigan State and deliver a surprising blow beating them 37-34. The Spartans blew a 25-point game lead as well as a 21-point lead going into the fourth quarter. The Illini outscored the Spartans by 24 points in their fourth quarter comeback.

Colorado football snapped its five-game losing streak in dramatic fashion on Saturday by defeating Stanford 16-13 behind game-tying and game-winning field goals from Buffs' kicker Evan Price. Quarterback Steven Montez earned a place in Buffs history as he became just the second Colorado player to ever surpass 10,000 all-purpose yards.

Western Michigan hosted Ball State for a Broncos victory 35-31. Miami OH also joined the winning column after a victory over Ohio 24-21. BYU defeated Liberty 31-24 and Wyoming fell to Boise State 20-17.

On the other side of the spectrum we'll look at the eight losses, The stand outs were Vanderbilt and Missouri. Both of these teams did not score a single point and lost by double digit margins against Florida and Georgia respectively. Oregon State lost to Washington 7-19 and Georgia Southern lost to Troy 28-49. Lastly, Kansas State and Iowa had disappointing outing as well last weekend. The Wildcats lost a close one to Texas 24-27 and the Hawkeyes couldn’t close out against Wisconsin losing 24-22.

Week 12 upcoming games: Eastern MI at Akron, Western MI at Ohio, Bowling Green at Miami OHKansas at Oklahoma St, Florida at MissouriMemphis at Houston, Wake Forest at Clemson, Texas at Iowa State, Minnesota at Iowa, UCLA at Utah, New Mexico at Boise State, Arizona at Oregon
